My friend has finished in hospital few days ago. His mother told me it was because of complications of MS. I didn’t know he has that at all, so now I am really confused. How could I not to notice, and how he could be not to tell me. I want to hear what those symptoms of MS are.
There are primary, secondary and tertiary symptoms which could occur with MS. Some of primary are result of the inflammatory, demyelinating process in the central nervous system. That’s why people with MS can experience a wide variety of symptoms. The most common symptoms of MS include fatigue. Then those patients notice problems with walking, bowel and bladder disturbances, visual problems, and changes in cognitive function. Here are included problems with memory, attention, and problem-solving, together with abnormal sensations such as numbness or pins and needles.
Secondary symptoms of MS are complications that can arise as a result of these primary symptoms. For example, it happens that bladder dysfunction can cause repeated urinary tract infections. Inactivity can result in loss of muscle tone and poor postural alignment and trunk control. Tertiary symptoms of MS are social, vocational and emotional complications associated with primary and secondary symptoms.
