I have become very interested in naturopathic treatments over the last few months, especially as some friends of mine have had naturopathic treatments and were happy with them. Do you know what naturopathic therapies can offer to cancer patients? Is there any hope that naturopathic therapies can help cure cancer?
There is a time and a place for naturopathic treatments and I don't think they do any harm. When a cancer can no longer be operated on or treated in any other way, I think naturopathic treatment may be something worth trying. It should hardly be looked at as a primary treatment for something as serious as cancer though!
I disagree that naturopathy should be used firmly as a last resort, and think that naturopathy has a large potential for people with cancer, alongside conventional treatment. Naturopaths might well be able to ease the problems that cancer patients so often experience in the post treatment period. What is so great about naturopathy is that there is nothing saying that conventional treatment and naturopathy should not go hand in hand.
