I traveled to Mexico in late December, and about a week after I returned from there {Note: I didnt have any sexual intercourse while I was there} a lesion showed up on my penis. The first episiode never healed until late march then about a week later another one showed up. I have been looking at information on the internet and it says that herpes should heal within 7-12 days and these have both lasted for over 2-3 months. I am just wondering if this is unusual or if it is normal for herpes to last this long, or could it be something that I contracted in mexico. Any help would be appreciated.
