My name is Lauren and I am 26. I decided to start running 2 months ago. I am really getting into it. I am a slow runner. I am running a 12 minute mile. I need to stop and walk sometimes. Everyday I am walking less. I feel much better about myself and have really come to enjoy running. I am a former dancer and now that I no longer dance, I am happy to take up running. I didn't realize it would be so hard. I may have tons of questions so please try to be patient. :)

Welcome! :wavey: I would suggest going to a running store and getting fitted properly just once. So many foot types out there!

Hello, Lauren. Ditto above. Once you know you're happy with a particular shoe you might want to get a second pair and rotate, especially as your mileage increases.
