Hello.

Experiencing symptoms like vertigo, pressure in the cheeks, tingling, and a feeling of spinning can be concerning and may be indicative of various underlying conditions.

Here are a few possible explanations for your symptoms:

  1. Vestibular Disorders: Vertigo and a sense of spinning are often associated with vestibular disorders, which affect the inner ear's balance mechanisms. Conditions like benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) or Meniere's disease can cause these symptoms.

  2. Migraines: Some people experience vestibular migraines, which can cause dizziness, vertigo, and tingling sensations. These symptoms can be triggered by certain factors, including stress, diet, or hormonal changes.

  3. Ear Infections: Infections in the inner ear or middle ear can lead to balance problems, vertigo, and a sensation of falling.

  4. Neurological Conditions: Certain neurological conditions, such as multiple sclerosis, can lead to balance issues and tingling sensations. However, these conditions often involve other symptoms as well.

  5. Medications: Some medications can have side effects that include dizziness and vertigo.

Since your symptoms have recurred after a nine-month absence, it's even more important to seek medical attention to determine the cause and appropriate management. If your symptoms are severe or accompanied by other concerning symptoms like weakness, vision changes, or difficulty speaking, you should seek urgent medical care.
