Hey everybody,
I am a 15 year old girl and I am so confused about my weight. I am 5'6" and 125 pounds, although lately my weight has been fluctuated a lot. I'm trying to lose enough weight to get back to 117, what I consider my ideal weight, but I can't seem to make that happen (any tips would be greatly appreciated). Anyway the thing is I look a lot smaller than I am, most people think I'm barely 110. My parents think I'm underweight because my ribs and hipbones show a little bit and I have a 25 inch waist. I don't have a lot of muscle mass but I just quit soccer and ice skating and started cheer, although none of this was at a very high intensity. Oh and I guess I have a regular frame, if I wrap my hand around my wrist my fingers tip touch. I'm not sure how much info is necessary but I'm putting it all out there just in case :). So basically my questions are
1) How much should I weight?
2) Do I need to lose weight, and if so how do I do that?
3) Why do I look so much lighter than I am?
