What is the age group with a high risk of getting melanoma?

I am thinking of writing a blog about melanomas, and I'd like some information about that, if that is possible? What is the age group that is most likely to get melanoma? And why? My guess is that they are middle aged people who are out in the sun a lot, but it could also be teenagers, who do not take care of protecting themselves in the sun and after go tanning. Please...
