My friends are running in various clothes. They all seem to know everything about it. Supposedly there are special clothes for a certain type of running, weather, and season, for different kinds of objectivesIt seems very confusing. What do you think is the best for running? What kind of clothes should I wear?

The first and most important thing is that your clothes have to be comfortable. It cannot be too tight or restraining in any way. You have to be able to do any kinds of moves with ease. Everything else is less important. Of course, you are not going to run in your winter jacket during hot summer days. You will adjust the clothes according to the weather and temperature. As for the different objectives, mostly that is fallacy. Supposedly if you sweat more while running, especially around your abdomen, you will lose fat faster there. Unfortunately spot fat reduction is not possible (except for the liposuction) so dont pay attention to those advices. The most important part of your gear is your shoes.
