I would like to hear what can you tell me about baclofen pump? I have heard that it helps people who are suffering from spasticity (and my friend’s father has it, unfortunately). Are there any procedures (like radiology ones) that can be done in spite of the pump? Do you know?
I do know that it looks discomforting, because we are talking about a small disc (pump), several inches thick and one inch in diameter, and a catheter. The pump is positioned under the skin at abdomen level. And medication is applied via catheter, whenever needed. As for all sorts of diagnostic procedures, I guess they can be done without any harm to a patient.
