it's tough work! it's sort've like "write how great you are in one page or less with specific reference to the skills we are looking for".
i get a little self conscious trying to write about how 'great' i am. not that i can't do it, but i always feel like these letters make people sound like idiots. it's just ackward in general. my business communications book is helpful but i still feel that the sample letters in there are pretty corny (even if it *is* what's considered a good letter).
anyway - when was the last time you had to write a cover letter? do you think you did a good job?
