I recently became regularly sexually active again and since then I have had the same problem. I kept getting paranoid that it was an STD or something but I know it is not. Had two rounds of testing done and everything came back neg. I had a yeast infection once and this is absolutely nothing like that. That itched sooooooo much that I couldn't even stand it.

The guy I am with now is overly curious about it. I told him that it is on a range of normal for me depending on the time of the month because it can go from watery, clear to thick, white. He actually really likes it which I found very odd. (Lol, I shall spare the details) All I can say is that if you have no other symptoms then you have nothing to worry about. As far as the guy, they probably wouldn't be too worried by it.

That is exactly what happened to me. It wasn't until after I had the first yeast infection that I began dealing with the regular thick discharge and I notice the exact same as you do regarding the smell. I haven't found that diet or anything changes the consistency. For awhile I ate a lot of yogurt but that didn't really help. I think it may have to do with higher levels of estrogen.

Ask your physician about Flucanzanole, 500mg (I think), once a week for 6 months to a year should help (its an oral capsule). In some people there is an over abundance of yeast that is not responsive to OTC meds and needs to be managed continuously. If you are on Birth Control Pills consider going off them (if that is a realistic option), or changing to a different kind. Certain kinds have a high occurance causing of yeast infections. Mine were attributed to the Pill that I was on (Yasmin and Aless) and I would get a yeast infection every 3 weeks like clock-work.

So I'm worried/ freaking out that I might have a yeast infection, but then again I feel like I dont. I'm not experiencing any itching, burning, and irritation but have this really white discharge that will get on my panties . ((Not sure if that's good or bad)) But, the oder have no smell. However, I do at times get this clear stringy discharge like cottage cheese. Just wanted to know what I shall do.

Hi you need to treat your bf too as he can reinfect you. A yeast infection does not affect men's bits in the same way so they would not be aware. Treat him as well as you with a cream and all will be fine

Hi, I know that it's been over a year but get a swab done. They will culture a sample of your discharge and you'll know what it is.
If you don't have any symptoms, it may be lactobacillus overgrowth (lactobacillus or cytolitic vaginosis)
I have done 2 swabs and both said that I had no white cells and too much lactobacillus.
My discharge is milky or gel like sometimes.
