I had the exact same thing and it started to freak me out but when I looked up genital herpes and the like..nothing looked like what I had, which sounds like what you're describing. I had it for a few months and just a few days ago I took another good look at it and decided it looked like a white head so I tried to pop it. And it worked! Acted just like a white head and everything and now all is well....So if I had to bet money, I'd say it's definately just a white head that ended up in an....interesting area.

I have returning itchy area near vagina.  Doctor said not to worry, continue applying hot wet compress to area.  Go to the Doctor, Ladies. Knowledge is better than Fear and Denial.

Hello, I too have the small white bump and so does my brother on his face. All it is is a small cyst. If you pop it some amount of white stuff will come out and that'll be the end of it. Of course your not supposed to get rid of it that way lol. Go to the doctor and they will give you antibiotics, or a special kind of body wash. Nothing to worry about.

Hi, I got one of these recently and having read all your comments am greatly relieved that it does not seem to be serious - I know how it started in my case - I used tampons for the first time in years and noticed a lot of friction at the time, at one point one was rubbing off that area not quite full in, [ouch!], so I put it down to friction and annoying the area in my case

For people who have what looks like a pimple but is AGONY to even try to pop or live with. Starts big gets smaller over two week period and super f*****g painful- it's herpes. I have the harmless little bumps but separately I also have herpes. It flakes up once a year or so and is the most painful thing u can even experience. Do not try to pop it ever. Go o doctor and get a swab to confirm and get some valtrex it will make it go away faster. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news

The Bartholin cyst is further inside than these "whitehead" bumps which are on the outer labia majora. It's a different problem altogether.
The whitehead bumps are sebaceous cysts, which contain a white, waxy substance.

not to seem all negative or anything but the bump could be something serious so they shouldn't shrug it off as a pimple until they have a talk with their doctor to be sure it is a pimple and if not how to safely get rid of it

I have.the.same thing I dnt worry about it do to the fact I am pregnant and have been.tested for everything and came out clean. Butt I have the exact same thing. Unless it starts to hurt or gett big and uncomfortable I wouldn't worry

yes I too only have one. no pain no itching or anything it's just there. I have tried squeezing it but it just hurts me. I have thought about getting a needle but then been scared that if make matters worse.
