I'm not quite sure how do fully describe this without sounding slightly graphic, no offense intended. I'm not even sure how to write this post; I'm trying not to be worried.
History:
Little bit of history, relevancy unknown.
I'm 25 and as far as I'm aware in good health aside from this problem. My diet is stereotypical for a college student, aka, not great.
I'm 5'9". Since I was about 14yrs old I've weighed 120lbs +/- 2lbs. In the last year (or probably less) I've jumped up to 143lbs. That's still slightly under what charts say I'm 'supposed to weigh', but very strange for me. I've always been skinny and small boned and been fine that way.
Also in the last 4months I noticed I may have become lactose intolerant. I had started to get looser bowels for a while. I usually ate 1-2 bowls of cereal a day. I ran out of milk for a couple weeks and my bowels were better, but right when I bought more milk they got looser again. They are still a little loose on and off since I still consume dairy products moderately often.
Recent History:
I've experienced no pain and no rectal bleeding. It doesn't itch horribly, but it feels better to scratch a bit in the shower.
I noticed a while ago (not certain how long, around a year maybe...), while in the shower, what I thought to a bump on my anus while washing. I figured it was just the folds of skin and thought nothing of it. Today, while in the shower, I felt it a little more carefully and felt that there were a few bumps that felt like pieces of skin growing off. Curious to see if it looked normal or not, I got my camera out after the shower and looked. I was horribly surprised.
Description:
If I relax my anus and kind of pull the skin out a little bit there are these bumps right at the entrance. They aren't bumps so much as they are more like growths. Some are against the surface but some grow out, there are like 8-9 little clusters. They look like the surface is full of little bumps (slightly cauliflower looking) and are white in appearance. They are soft and feel like skin.
I tried popping one really hard (its really red now) and it started bleeding a lot. That's the first/only time anything bled.
They do NOT look like hemroids or warts.
I censored out the picture posted at the bottom of this msg as best I could to save however much anonymous modesty I could...
Help:
If anyone has any idea what this is, please help!!! :-(:-(
I googled my ass off (no pun intended) looking for any picture that might be similar and came up empty handed. None of the medical diagnosis sites had any info I could find.
The closest thing I found was polyps but I couldn't find any photos, just drawings.
I won't have any medical insurance till school starts in a month or so, so I'll have to wait till then to see a Dr.
If someone could recommend a site where I might be able to ask a Dr directly for an opinion, even if I have to pay say 20<$ . I can't go to a Dr now because it will count as a "prior" issue and the school insurance won't cover it.
thanks,
nameless anus

If they are califlower bumps, sounds like genital warts, or HPV. I have that condition and the bumps specifically look like califlowers. You should see a doctor. I had my first an only outbreak 10 years ago. I had them lasered off, and they never returned.
Good Luck.
Good Luck.
Your condition is most definitely HPV (Human Papiloma Virus) a type of wart, an STD. Yes, you should see a doctor, as HPV is a condition that can spread and be shared with others. Absolutely DO NOT pick at, or try to remove these growths - this causes spreading, bleading, and infection. There are options for removal, but as HPV is incurable, there is no guarantee they will disappear completey - they may even return. And you are still infected.
Sounds like your loose stools have caused you to develop hemoroids. They do itch and flare up when your having a lot of stools. They usually don't remove them unless they are causing a medical issue.
Good Luck, just go to the drug store and get some prep h %-)
