If you buy a strawberry pot (you know, the ceramic dude about 24" high with holes all around the sides) you can plant perennials in it and it looks really cool when they drape down the sides. You must water it often though, and don't even think about actually putting strawberries in it because it just. doesn't. work. In mine I have about ten different varieties of stonecrop, which is a colorful sort of cactusy looking perennial that comes in all shapes and sizes. So my strawberry pot looks like a multi-colored cactus garden.
