Hi, I have severe back pain lately, but I didn’t have any problems before. How can I determine if it is some spine disorder or something else? What kind of examination is performed?
Hi, at first you need to do initial exam for low back pain. It consists of questions that will your doctor ask you such as your medical history, your symptoms, and your work and physical activities. And a physical exam, sometimes RTG or CT scan, or some other appropriate method will be used to determine the cause of pain. You will probably be recommended to take some pain killers, to apply some creams and lotions for rheumatic pain and a physical therapy. Low back pain tends to be chronic and you will develop your own way of coping with it.
