Hi, I am 50 years old. last year i lost 40 kilo, i had a kob where i was always on my feet, and worked long hours and the weight just dropped off me.
In the last 9 months i have managed to put 25 kilo back on, I wasnt working, and have had a few traumatic things happen, that have caused me to do a lot of comfort eating, which i have done my entire life.
2 weeks ago, feeling very sad, that i could no longer fit into my new wardobe, i decided that i would try to lose what i had put on......i didnt realise till now "that i did feel better", without all the weight, i was more confident and belive it or not, actually got better service in shops...
So i started an exercise routine, 1 hour a day, treadmill and gym work,,,,,,,,,first thing in the morning, and tried to stay on my feet, housework etc till at least 3 maybe 3 in the afternoon
To my horror, i have not lost any weight, I eat special k for breakfast, 2 pieces fruit for lunnch, and fish and salad or vegies for dinner. alternate with chicken or meat
I have given up eating bread, and lollies, cakes etc.
Please help, i do not want to give up, i am looking at my daily routine as healthy , and trying not to focus on the fact that i have lost no weight......
Is it too much to ask that my scales tell me just a little that i am doing ok..........in 2 full weeks .....nothing
My calorie intake is about 1000.1200
