Tomorrow I have to see the doctor for results. I am almost in panic cause that means results are abnormal. But we'll see. Thanks for sharing your experiences.
I dont have periods because I had a Hysterectomy ladt year so the pain being from period does not relate to my situation...im still waiting for my results...my Transvaginal was done last night and I never recall it being as painful as it was last night...but this time around Im having it done after a bunch of problems I have had because of my Hysterectomy...I got the Hysterectomy because Ovarian Cancer runs in my family...funny thing is they left my Ovaries in!! And tgey damaged my bladder and cut my right Ureter causing me major problems like complete right kidney function obstructed requiring an emergency Nephrostomy tube being jammed in my right kidney while laying down on my stomach wide awake...they just numbed a small area then jammed a big tube in my right kidney...having to carry a bag of urine around until my insides healed enough from the messed up Hysterectomy surgery then they had to reconstruct my cut Ureter...since then my health declined....im 41 and miss at least 2 to 3 days of work every two weeks from some medical complication now...a year later I am having a hard time emptying my bladder completely and now excruciating pain in left lower pelvic area.....they always try to tell me that everything looks normal....then why does it feel like knives stabbing me in my bladder and a pressure like a bowling ball when i try to stand....its crazy....Im giving it to the Lord and praying for wisdom for the doctors to finally tell me what is going on... Good luck and God Bless
I had my first vaginal ultrasound just yesterday, and it was so painful. I once passed a small kidney stone that was less painful. I am going to talk to my doctor to see if I can get some answers.
In the beggining it wasn't painful it just felt uncomfortable but lord.. Once she was trying to see my left ovary that hurt so bad. It literally felt as if someone was stabbing me & i'm not even exagerrating. Also keep in mind I have a high pain in tolerance. I asked the sonographer if it is normal to feel a lot of pain & she said that it's not. She said that all of the patients she has done the transvaginal ultrasound on before actually told her that she is very gentle compared to other sonographers.
