Hi, I want to ask about my tooth problem. I am new here. I am from Asia. I got my wisdom tooth extracted two days ago. I followed all the dentist's instructions. There is not much pain, just a bit throbbing. What I would like to ask is that, my dentist put some kind of cotton like ball into my tooth sockets. He told me it's medicine and it will dissolve in 3 or 4 days. Have you ever heard of this before? I am afraid that the wound will heal and this thing will get stuck in there. It is second day now and it is still in there. I still have one more day of the pills. I do not experience any more pain. Can I skip this medication? I heard much pain killers and antibiotics are not good. Thanks for your help.
