I have been taking Oxycontin for about 2 months due to knee reconstruction. I didn't realize I could not just stop taking it! I have had terrible withdrawal symptoms and I just started back to work.I really don't want to discuss this with my Supervisor who might not understand.Can you give me a general time frame for these symptoms? I have been taking a mild anti-depressant-Lexipro-and it seems to help,but I was up all last night and feel pretty bad! It's been a week since I stopped taking it. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
i know the feeling!i still need my meds,my lower back disc pain is so bad .i cant stop yet.but im so scared of being where you are right now!i feel for you!! i have read that valium and hot baths help.and plenty of fluids (gatoraids)will help!and looking around on web youtube takes mind away for awhile! dont tell work-they cant understand what your going thru,unless they have been thru it!!i never drank smoked drugged and just had no addictions.now i know!!!!sorry about this reply i have no train of thought or memory.your not alone!hope this helps!be strong !!!
