My last period came on the 8th of Sep. & it was due again on or around the 6th of October and it has not come. me & my boyfriend dont have sex anymore as i dont want to get pregnant at a young age, although we do other stuff. When he ejaculates on my hand, i always clean it and i havent fingered myself after. I havent been having regualar cramps or the usual tender breasts leading up to my period and i cant think why this is happening. Something similar to this happened before, but my period cam eventually. I have started doing exercise and going walking/jogging 4/5 times a week..could this delay my period for this long?
Firstly, if you are not engaging in intercourse (male penetration of the vagina), then as you appreciate, you've essentially eliminated all risk of pregnancy barring divine intervention.

With that as the major concern out of the way, the question then arises as to the delayed period, which is off by a few days. You yourself have admitted that it has happened before, to no ill effect, and it is only a few days, there is no reason for concern as regards pregnancy according to your comments, so really at this point it is an anomaly, not a cause for undue concern.

There are posts here for women who have not had periods for months, or years, or ever - those are definitely anomalies that should be checked out with a visit to a doctor or a clinic - if in doubt, check it out, ask a medical professional in person (I am neither, being simply an experienced adult).

If you're concerned, learn - ask, as you have done here, google the web and find articles in (women's) magazines, health magazines, scientific publications. Knowledge reduces fear, and increases options, and freedom. If you can post a question, you can research the web.

You might be up for an award though for being most responsible young woman and refusing intercourse (sorry dude). Glad you're taking your body and your actions seriously. Sex is designed to be fun, but responsibility makes life with sex more fun all round.

Good for you.
