I have yellow discharge and a 3.1 cm cyst, Is yellow discharge related to the cyst? and is yellow discharge normal? I have had 5 cultures done and no sign of infection, could it be from Birthcontrol?

Well, the normal discharge is usually white, clear and colorless but I may add that a yellowish should not be a problem.
I don’t think that the cysts would have anything to do with the discharge. If they do cause symptoms, it is usually pain around ovulation and periods, pain during intercourse, spotting when your period’s not due and things like that. Ovarian cysts are usually not dangerous and go away on their own ( if they do not complicate).
However, birth control pills may be the cause especially if you have just started it. It could be due to hormonal fluctuations that you are having unusual discharge.
If the cultures showed there were no infections, give it a rest for some time and see if it goes away. If not, see a doc again!

Are you saying Yellowish/clearish/whitish discharge is ok? I inform the nurse at my doctor office and she said im normal and not to worry, but i just wish it was back to normal.
