YOUR OPINION OF DR. JAY CALVERT,HIS WORK, AND HIS REPUTATION

I had a consultation with Dr. Calvert as i might consider a facelift. He was knowledgeable and i knows what he is talking about. I will see 3 other doctors but Dr. Calvert is definitely so far the one which i would choose for my facelift. I like his before and after pictures on his website.

This man is amazing. Not sure what happened with you, but my results were far better than I expected. Not only is he caring, he is a leader in his community and mentors many other rising surgeons. I felt I had to respond to this comment as I feel it is wholly inaccurate. I had surgery by Dr. Calvert and love the results. His work is excellent. I had my second nose surgery with him.

I am leaving the reasons behind my recommendation for this surgeon, so as to better assist those of you that are like me--super detail oriented.

ABOUT ME:
I am a 39 year old surgeon, so you can say Dr. Calvert is a surgeon that other surgeons trust to do their surgeries. As a surgeon who also has an online presence I did not want my nose and breasts to be plastered all over the internet. But I have given my consent to Dr. Calvert that any prospective patient of his, can view my before and after photos with him in his office, to see what kind of results he has delivered for me. I vouch for Dr. Calvert's integrity, vision, and talent, and am available to talk to you on the phone if you need further reasons as to why you should choose this surgeon.

MY PROBLEMS:

WHY I RECOMMEND HIM FOR YOU:
I have had several consultations with several plastic surgeons both for rhinoplasty (nose job), repair of deviated septum in my nose, and breast augmentation and I had an excellent result on both surgeries with Dr. Calvert. What he did for me was give me the confidence to smile again as my prior surgery left me weird looking when I smiled. He also gave me a small breast augmentation as I did not want to be too large given my profession, but did want to be fuller and not have to wear push up bras. The breast augmentation results were perfect. I had no loss of nipple sensation despite his cutting around the entire areola. The technical skill in his skin closure was excellent too. I couldn't have asked for a better surgeon. I love my results. I love feeling great when I undress.

My Rhinoplasty was a success. I had my hump shaved down and my doctor used facsia to smooth out my bridge. My breathing was very bad so he he also fixed my turbulences. I can breathe very well now and finally my hump is gone. By the way, thanks to the whole Roxbury Clinic in Beverly Hills.

When I was looking for a good doctor i asked my insurance to give me a few names. Doctors which have a good reputation and who already have a well known name. One of the recommendations was Dr. Jay Calvert in LA. 3 consultations with him convinced me that he will be my Revision Rhinoplasty surgeon.

I am so very grateful I found Dr. Calvert.  A doctor referred me.  The doctor had interviewed more than a dozen plastic surgeons before selecting Dr. Calvert to operate on his daughter's nose.  That was good enough for me.  I have chronic sinuitus and have had numerous surgeries.  A colection of doctors thought if I fixed a suspected deviated septum, my condition would improve.  What none of us knew was that a previous surgeon had removed my septum!  Repeated MRIs and xrays did not reveal the problem.  So when Dr. Calvert began my surgery he thought he was to perform one kind of surgery and then in the operating room he learned the plan wouldn't work.  He did a remarkable job under difficult circumstances.  Someone without his skills, experience, judgment and trained staff would not have been able to design and execute an alternate plan in the moment.  Dr. Calvert is the best.

Dr. Calvert performed an awesome rhinoplasty surgery to fix a deviated septum, cleared my airway, reduced(I think that is what they do to them) enlarged turbinates and removed a pocket of infection that had been mis-diagnosed by reputable (so I thought) EN&T doctors for years. After countless (years) of anti-biotic treatments, Dr. Calvert finally addressed the problem once and for all. I can breathe normally, resumed my sense of smell and I don't sound like I'm congested when I don't feel like I am. You won't be disappointed having Dr. Calvert perform any cosmetic procedure on you especially Rhinoplasty related. He loves what he does and it shows, truly a professional. Staff is awesome.

I just had a mastoplexy with Dr. Jay Calvert. I had consultations with other doctors over the years, but did not feel I met the right doctor until I met Dr. Calvert. To say I'm happy I had him perform my surgery is an understatement. He did such an AMAZING job on my breast lift, they look like perfection! The scars are so thin and minimal. The shape of them is perfection.

could you please tell me if you ended up have surgery with him since i have a planned revision rhinoplasty with him which id very complicated and i want to tlk to actual patients

Calvert recently was found to have committed the elements of fraud based on a 2014 lawsuit filed in Orange Country. He was a founder of MD Insider, a medical healthcare technology company and defrauded his partner out of his ownership. 

Thanks for giving me confidence. I have similar horrible primary rhinoplasty and it bothered me for over 20 years. It's crooked,veers to the left, very asymmetrical nostrils, deviated septum and his very ugly. I finally gotten the courage to do a revision and I'm going to see Dr. Calvert next week for a consultation. Ok so ur surgery a year ago was 16,500.
I was just quoted 25,000!!!! And it is also third revision

I have had two rhinoplasties one was a revision with a rib graft. He'd had to fix what another surgeon screwd up. I must say he did a outstanding job! I also had him do a facelift and brow lift both outstanding. I would not hesitate to go to Jay Calvert again
