Hello I am almost 16 years old and my height is about 6 feet (1.83 meters), and I am having some interest in weightlifting. My father bought some weights, which the minimum of a weight is 3.0 Kg. (thats the only one i was using, no more no less)
Now my father tells me it won´t disrupt my growth because the technique i was practicing is only for the arms.
My mother tells me it will affect my growth, ive searched many websites , each one contradicting each other. But my interest on weightlifting is just to build a little bit of muscle in my arms.
My question is would it affect my growth in any means?
