I'm a 21 year old female and I have also been having heart pain, which started only recently. Before that it was very rare, but now it's everyday.

Have you guys heard of the sacred circuit? It has to do with quantum physics and the whole world, galaxy, and universe sharing a pulse. It will increase soon in 2012 according to the Maya and to some Quantum physicists.

hey was reading up on heart pain and I'd just thought I'd say ya'll should stop scaring each other. it is normally from heartburn (even people our age get it) or from anxiety. I find I get it bad after eating greasy foods all day or caffeine. I also have anxiety so that doesn't help. don't worry too much about it but be sure to ask your doc next time you check in and get a blood test just in case! Regulate your diet to healthy snacks, dont smoke/drink caffeine, and start running. I guarantee you will never get heart pain or palpitations mine stopped when I got into health mode. It's weird but I find if I make myself burp a lot it relieves pressure. You won't feel like you need to but it will seriously help.

I have had similar symptoms (and am same age) too. But it feels like someone is squeezing my heart, not stabbing pains. Let me know what you had. :)

I am 22 years old. i have been having these sharp pains through my heart for a few months now, sometimes it gets so bad where i have to crouch over something and sit like that for a long time before it will go away, sometimes it gets so bad that i cant move my left arm or my body at all and it also gets worse when i take deep breathes. i dont know what it is.. i dont eat healthy at all and i suspect it prolly has something to do with that. or it may be do to muscles like alot of ppl on here are saying. i called telecare today because i just had a attack they said i should go in to get checked because it could be a number of things such as lungs heart or muscles ect.. i am prolly gonna end up going in if not today then soon. im sick of feeling like im gonna die any day now :(

Im 18 and have been having terrible chest pain problems basically ever since my 18th birthday and everyone on here seems to be around the same age group which is pretty interesting. I think the added stress of it always being on your mind makes it even worse.

you know, I have been having kind of the same thing (It doesn't really take by breath away) and it's annoying. But as someone said before in the comments, I think it might be stress, why so many people around 16 and 21 have the same problem? It may be some kind of pattern or I don't know. Anyways, you should always go see a doctor in these kinds of situations

I'm 19 and have experienced this several times over the past few years. Recently when it happens I puff my asthma inhaler and it goes away in about 5 minutes. Never had wheezing to accompany it though. So if you have asthma it could be related to that.

I'm a 17 years olf female, i have suffered from heart pain for like a year and half , and the pain is still on till now. I went to doctor and got checked up . Thankfully there was nothing wrong with my heart , the pain is just caused because of stress and vitamine D defficience

So i advise everyone with similar pain to get a blood test , check your vitamins ( But it is always better to check a doc just to be sure , but don't be afraid at that young age like us heart diseases are rare ;))

I am an 18-year-old female and I have the same exact problems I have asthma but I've had the sharp pains in my heart for a long time and every time I try to explain it to the doctor they don't understand and don't know what to do I've had x-rays MRIs CAT scans I don't eat a lot of salt. Even while at rest I still get the sharp pains in my heart that takes my breath away and breathing in the pain worsens so if anybody can find any explanation so I can stop going to the doctors all the time I would love to know!!!!!!

I am also 18 and i have the same problem been suffeing from it a few years now. A sudden and severe pain in my heart or lower back which hurts even more when i take a breath or try to move my torso in anyway. it comes and goes, sometimes i wont have a problem for months and i think its gone but it always comes back. i am also too scared too inform anyone of it or go to a doctor as i dont live in my home country so language barriers and confusion/mess also seem evident, if not just for the fact that i may be overreacting and it could just being brushed off before it even gets to that stage
