I am wondering what your outcome was. I am very simalar just got of the pill and about 2 weeks after my period my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex and I would say 2 days later I started getting really bad cramps. and now at 7 days later my breast have been very sore. I know everyone says you dont know in a week and that is to soon but we have not had intercourse since then in hopes there is a baby in me and just being able to know the exact day we tried to concive. the test came up negative but again it is officially only 8 days since we had intercourse and I should be getting my period in a week so im hoping that these are symptoms of a baby being to early for my period and ive never had any cramping so bad every for any period.

I have also been having this problem. I've been off the pill for about 3 weeks and this week my nipples were very painful to touch and Ive also noticed an increase in their size. Two weeks prior to this I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend while on the pill but I'm still paranoid.

This is a very common thing. I dont know why but I have been on and off birth control more than I can count and I dont think thats very healthy but I tend to forget to take it at times and renew. I mainly just take it to keep my period very light. But I can tell you the first time I was very nervous thinking I was pregnant because these to are signs of pregnancy. But After awhile a couple of weeks everything went back to normal and after taking countless pregnancy tests they always came back negative then finally I started my period. This happens every time I mess up my birth control pill. Its most likely our bodies going back to normal all of the hormones and stuff. I have been trying to find out exactly why and if there is a way to help soothe my nipples because they too are extremely sore. Probably something to ask a doc

It's funny because Im on the same boat 3 tests at different times and nothing - took the first test because i had symptoms that were similar to my first pregnancy and 2nd one because i thought i would try a different time of day and 3rdly because it was still going on... I also having pain when pressure on my belly but god knows it's driving me insane!!!

I went off birth control about 3 weeks & my nipples were terribly sore.  I read these posts & realized this may not go away.  I started the pill again & after 4 days, my nipples do not hurt.  I guess being on birth control is better than wanted to chops your breasts off.  :)

Im not positive but! i have also been off my birth control for 2 or 3 weeks and have had spotting, tender nipples, cramps and headaches and unprotected sex with my boyfriend, but i think its just our hormones coming back to bite us because were off birth control or at least i hope

That's not true. You're generally protected a week after stopping BC. It says so in the pamphlets that come with the drug.

Hi. Hoping someone can shed some light. I'm in my early 30s, been on the Estelle since I was 17 to treat heavy periods and acne. I've come off the pill a couple of times previously, to regular periods with no pms/hormonal symptoms. I came off the pill 7 weeks ago (no period yet) and for the past 1-2 weeks been experiencing pregnancy symptoms, but particularly the sore enlarged darkening nipples. I've never experienced this before- on or off bc. Can someone please help?

Im glad I found this site. After my man left for 4 months I decided to go off my nuvaring. I obviously havnt had any sex but its been about 2.5 - 3 weeks. I came online to see if anyone else was experiencing what I am, and sure enough - theres lots of you!I know Im not pregnant nor have I had sex since going off the nuvaring but my nipples are sore!!! Not my breasts but my nipples hurt. I also had cramps for a few days that feel like they go into my hips. Not sure if that is related, but the sore nipples have been for a few days now.So all of you wondering if your pregnant and keep taking tests and they are coming out negative. Im going to assume this is normal and your not pregnant, unless youve had sex, then take a test. But I'm assuming the sore nipples and cramps have something to do with hormones trying to regulate from being off birth control.

I have the exact same issue, I'm pretty sure it's the hormones messing your body up.

I have this!! I've been off the pill for about 3 weeks and I have sore niiples and cramps (especially on my right side. I haven't had sex at all since I stopped the pill so I'm not pregnant. I was a little paranoid but only because its in my nature so I feel a bit more relieved to know I'm not alone.
