Miss, I'm very sorry you didn't get the privilege of having children like you would have loved.... I always intended to simply live the best I could to help God's people, especially the orphans...... Alas, my menustration was medically induced... go figure....I still love the children just as You. of course its charity donations

Hi Nikki, I understand I am 32 years old, had one period my whole entire life!! People say your lucky!! Yeah right try dealing with the side effects of not having a period! I’m developed. Cervix and uterus are on the smaller side; hence ovulation increases the size of these! So if you don’t have a period they won’t grow!

I’ve been to the top specialists in the state of Michigan! They put me on an estrogen patch for 3 months.. hoping to induce menstration: didn’t work.. so they said continue the estrogen patch and take progesterone.. guess what?!? Still no period! The doc who I loved and was the number 1 doc- passed away suddenly (heartbroken) bc he was the only one to give me somewhat of a diagnoses! I get sent to one of his old partners! He just said I don’t know why the hormones didn’t work.. the physician who passed away, diagnosed with with Hypothalmic Pituitary Dysfunction- basically they don’t communicate with ovaries (there’s a missing signal) estrogen, progesterone, testosterone are low. All other labs which I’ve had every single one day are normal! No pcos, no thyroid issues, nothing!

So they say take a low dose of hormones: to mainatain health.

I was diagnosed with osteoporosis at the age of 21! Since then it has progressed. My spine is the age of a 103 year olds bones. Among other issues from having low hormones.

I decline hormones due to the side effects of them! I supplement to protect my bones, eat healthy and work out.!

I still believe there is a reason why why hormones are low and have been low my whole life. I don’t know the reason, but hopefully studies will figure them out.

It sucks to deal with this, but sometimes we won’t get an answer bc we are a medical mystery! Best of luck to you!

I didn't start my period until I was 22 and I had to be put on birth control to make it start. I was told that my uterus and ovaries were the size of a new born baby's and I would never be able to have children. Well, I had my 1st child at 35 and my second at 37 but I had to have c-sections because I never dilated and my cervix never opened. So I would say that my two now teenagers were a miracle because God knew how much I wanted children.:)

I know I'm so stupid never going to a gyno, but I'm so afraid to find out what is wrong with me. I can't believe I've been so afraid and so stupid. I'm finally making a gyno appt at 32!

I've never had any tests to see if I'm fertile considering the fact that I don't have instance, however I'm 24 years old started my period about when I was 12 I'd say and it's never been regular. Maybe twice a year is how it happens for me. I'm also very petite I weigh 86 pounds right now at 24, I went to an endocriniologist around when I turned 18 they specialize in diabetes I was tested for almost everything to figure out why I was so small asked if I had eating disorders, btw I love to eat lol, told them I had a very high metabolism and they finally realized that too with all tests negative but the dr. Said the reason my periods weren't regular was because since I'm so small my body wasn't predicting enough estrogen. A year or two later I got my period and bled for almost over a month no insurance I went to the health department everything was fine that they saw and gave me a year of birth control the bleeding finally stopped as for kinda regular,o have since not been on it hoping I'd get it naturally biting have neither gained more weight or gotten a regular period as I've gotten older like o thought I would. I'm planning on going back because I would like to know if I can have kids. Considering I'm not having a period I think mostly not unfortunately been with my bf for 6 yrs I should've had a kid by now to be honest. Idk if this will help anyone but this is my experience without birth control I can't have a normal memorial cycle, since I don't produce enough estrogen, hopefully one day I will, I try all I can to gain weight, I can out eat so many people I know all way more bigger than me! Good luck to you all.

I feel you girls. I was a bit teary when I've read the comments, because I now know that I'm not the only one. I can feel what you guys are feeling. The only thing I was worried is if I'll never get tall, I need to have a work after I graduate. Back then I have a dream job, but requires a tall one, so I set aside that dream. Anyway I am 21 turning 22 this nov. I'm 4'11" and sometimes I get bullied for that, when my friends punch a joke, I have the most part of it. And if I met a people whom I don't know yet, they get confused and asked about my age and they always have that jawdropping reaction when they already knew it, It was hurting deep inside even if you get used to it. Like for an instance, we're applying for a driver's license with mom, they ignored me and doesn't give me fill up form bec they thought I was under 18. It's embarrassing when my mom tell them how old I am and explained to them that I was like this bec I haven't had my menstruation at 21. So every time people laugh at me I also laugh at them too. If I was asked all by myself then I tell them how old am I and be the 1st one to say "yeah I knew it I look like a child" and laugh when they laugh but I try to change topic before they ask for WHY?!? bec it's very tiring explaining myself everytime someone's asking, and I myself doesn't even know what's wrong with me and inside my body too! I'm tired of being mistaken for a child! But I can't do nothing but accept what I have.
Based on the OB, from my ultrasound, my uterus was too small and they considered me having a hormonal imbalance, I forgot what the dr. said but we talked something about in my brain, estrogen, progesterone and something like that. And that's the reason why I haven't develop pubic hair on my private part and my height too. I was also wondering why my breast are normal, not that big, not too small, well then I guess that's what an imbalance is.
Now I don't have problem if I can't be pregnant

(I don't like kids! Because all the kids I've been closed to or have been tutored freely before when they were so small, or even normal kiddos doesn't respect me anymore, maybe they don't see me as their elder. Well how can they see me like that when I'm this small too! But I don't want to get near them also esp. when they're starting to get taller than me. I feel so left out, down, different, embarrassed and so small :'( well we all have insecurities right?)

because there's a lot of ways to have babies. We have high technology girls. It's also a blessing in disguise bec we don't have to suffer monthly pain and buy for snaitary napkins everytime we have monthly visitors, we can swim in a pool w/o being worried the blood might flow and those girls that are having imbalances but the height is not affected, you should be thankful.
What you'll finally need is a man who will accept you for your imperfections. Long live girls!

(sorry for my bad english & composition)

I’m about to turn 25 and I’ve had about 5 periods in my life, first not until I was 21 maybe

I’m in the process of getting tests including an MRI on my pituitary gland to see what’s wrong! I suggest talking to multiple GPs until they do something you’re happy with (rather than prescribing medicines that done work etc) get a second third fourth fifth and 50th opinion always

Hello! I feel a bit better seeing that I am not the only one with this problem!
I am 24 years old. I went to see my lady doctor at age 18 because I did not start my period. So they decided to start me on the pill. That did work. I started and had regular periods with cramps and everything up until last April when I chose to stop talking the pill (after getting the OK from my doctor) because my husband and I wanted to start trying for kids. Since I stopped the pill, I have not had a period and no cramps. I had a check up today and my doctor said everything down there is perfectly normal so the next step is to get some blood work done. I just find it really weird that I appear to be "normal" but have no periods and when I was on the pill i had regular periods.
When I got checked at 18 my doctor then told me that I may need help getting pregnant. When I told my current doctor this, he got my tests from my lady doctor and he told me that it did not state anything about me having issues with having children. So I am a bit confused with this. I just hope everything works out when I get my blood work done.
