I'm 20 years old and I've never had a period. When I was around 15 years old, everyone was having their period. I felt sort of isolated so I eventually went to the doctor. The doctor told me that there was nothing wrong with me and that i'm a special late bloomer. I had high hopes that I would at least have one before 17, but nothing ever happened. I've taken blood tests for kallman syndrome because I as well have a very very little sense of smell and as well as ultrasounds and MRI. My ovaries i've been told are healthy (which shocked the doctors because my uterus was underdeveloped). Many of my family members tell me that i still have a body of a young child (such as no curves, big butt or no large breasts). I always blame me not having a period. I hated the last doctor that I had because the reason I would go to the specialist was to find a way to start my period (because I eventually want children), but this stupid man ignorantly told me "well do you know you don't need a period.. woman can go their whole life without one." That'/ the last thing I wanted to hear (and that's the last time i went to the stupid specialist). He put me on birth control but nothing happened. It amazes me that I am not the only one!! Makes me feel better in a sense. I'm reading all these stories and they're all so similar to eachother. I'm sad there is not enough awareness for this.. wish you all the luck gals

Also i have never developed breast's in all honesty id say im a double A and at my age this kills me along with not knowing if i will ever be able to have kids naturally.
I hope some of you have had answers and i am still going to push my GP for answers but not holding much hope so if anyone has any ideas on what i can do that would be great.

I know I spelled that wrong. Also called endo. They both work with hormones.
Plus lots of women have children that don't have breast.
Not all women get big boobs.

Thanks for your comment. That's what Im hoping to do but i believe I need to be referred by a gp to see a gynocologist. last time I seen a gyno which was about 10 years ago he said that the scans couldn't see either my ovaries or womb (can't remember which one now) I'm fully aware there are other options but surely most females would love to conceive naturally. At the end of it I suppose what I'm really after is knowing what these tablets really are for, hormones or bones? I no no one on here is a doctor but someone may have an idea. oh and I don't want big boobs just some would be nice haha
