In March 2007 , I had an opertion on a Hiatus Hernia. One of the side effects from the operation was that I would not be able to consume Carbonated drinks of any kind, but I was told this should iron itself out.

However 2 years on , I still cannot take anything carbonated , nor can i eat a meal in a restuarant without feeling extremely uncomfortable for hours after .

Has anyone else had anything similar.??

I should mention that since March 2007 , I have had 2 other opertions on my stomach , Removal of Gallbladder and repair of a reputured Ulcer.
