My Granddaughter comes to my house every morning with a fever and various complaints, some mornings its headache, some times a sore throat and stomach ache. I have had her at the Doctor 2 times but by the time we get there she is fine and playing. Yesterday I took her and she still had a low grade fever so the doctor put her on antibiotics. I am worried. Any ideas?
I think that whatever your doctor was able to put her on is a good idea for the time being. It sounds like it could be a low-grade bacterial infection since she felt better the first time, which means her body is strong enough to fight it off the first time but not strong enough to totallly kick it. I feel bad that you're worried but I think that this course of antibiotics should do the trick. Can you keep us posted on how she's doing? Thanks!
