Hi,
My name is Indira. I'm 22-years-old and in my eighth month of pregnancy with my third child. I was diagnosed as a diabetic at the age of 12 and hypertensive at 17. Here is my question:
Last night, I was in the middle of talking with my baby's father about something funny (quite irrelevant, I know, lol!) and began to notice my mouth watering up out of no where. The odd thing was I noticed an almost metallic taste; it kept coming non-stop, both the watering and flavor. I was handed a cloth to spit up the saliva, which turned out to be blood. I spit that up, than had ran to the bathroom...more came out. Then, it was gone. I checked to make sure I had no bleeding gums; nothing. I noticed the blood came from inside my throat at the very least. 25 minutes later, I ate spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread (buttered). The very SECOND the food hit my stomach, it BURNED LIKE CRAZY! That sensation ran up my esophagus to my throat. Ever since last night, I've been dealing with this "burn" in the same exact area and it's hard to eat certain things and drink certain things. For three days, it's been hard to eat regular foods, so I've been munching on soups, sugar-free snacks that are soft, and hydrating with some water, diet soda (tsk tsk, I know, sorry!), and diet teas from Arizona. What could be the matter?
Thanks a whole lot!
GBU!
