Hello i am 8 weeks pregnant and have vaginal infection they gave me some pills called nitrofurantoin mono -100mg that i have to take for 7 days im scared can this harm the baby or cause a miscarriage

Nitrofurantoin is usually used to treat urinary tract infections.
There is a caution not to use it within the last 2-4 weeks of pregnancy due to risk of anemia.
There is no contraindication for use early in pregnancy.
Your doctor prescribed it and they did know you were pregnant, correct? Take it exactly as directed.
