My stepson is 8 and still poops his pants on a regular basis. As a stepmom I am not sure how to approach this situation. He knows I am aware of it. All of his underwear have large soiled spots on them and each weekend, (we have them every weekend), he usually just throws the soiled underwear in the bottom of the trash. Is this a medical problem someone knows about or something else?
He might have a problem with his instestins. I would recomend bringing this up to his doctor. It could be that he has trouble sensing when he has to go.

I don’t know how your relationship with him is and does he have any problems with you. You need to talk to his father as well and try to find a solution for this problem. Also if this is not possible to resolve at home he might even need a professional help. You should take him to a doctor and see what can be done. He is a bit too old to be doing these kinds of things.
