Hi I'm 18 years old and I was wrongfully diagnosed by the Urgent Care in my city. Don't go there EVER. So because of them I've been sick for 2 weeks! I went to my regular doctor and it turns out I have Tonsillitis! I have Amoxicillin and I've been taking it for 4 days and I don't feel ANY better...is that normal? Also is it normal to have puffy eyes because of it? Does Tonsillitis give you night sweats because they have been terrible!
It normally takes antibiotics between 2 to 3 days to get into your system and start to work so you should start to feel some affect starting from day 4.
I would say it depends how bad your Tonsillitis was, i use to get it real bad when i was small high fevers swollen glands pain when i tried to eat. So yes it could all be linked
