Those symptoms sounds exactly the same as mine. Good luck at the ultrasound - I admit I was a bit of a whimp and didn;t take too kindly to having a bloke play with my very tender adn senstive balls! A strange almost 'funny pain' that only blokes will understand....

Anyway - I had 5 brightly coloured anti-biotic pills last night and woke up this morning feeling 100 times better. Korean medication is renowned for being ultra strong, and I think that they have zapped that damn cyst overnight....

Good luck!

Wow, reading all these comments have put me at a much greater ease than I ever expecte to find on-line. I just noticed(2 hours ago) a slight ball-like mass on my right testicle in the same place many of you have experienced. I FREAKED out big time, my bf told me to relax and I just couldn't bring myself to control. Luckily I came across this posting and read every single comment and can say I feel 80% better, though I hope to fell 100% better once I go to the doctors. Hoping and praying it is just a cyst.

Like I said, I just discovered it about 2 hours ago and I feel very little to slight pain, it basically feels like an in-grown hair on my ball. I can't tell if its attached to my ball or just very close to it, hoping the dr will figure it out. At first I wasn't sure if it was inside or just on my skin but once I realized it was inside I panicked but am doing better thanks to all your comments. Very bummed since I dont have insurance currently but I can't put this off, I wouldn't be able to function if i did. Will be back with an update once i get checked out. thanks again everyone and the best of luck to you all! God bless!

Good luck David - I'm sure it will be fine - sounds the same as what I had.

I can report that the pain and numb uncomfortable pain has subsided - it took about 3 or 4 days for the antibiotics to really kick in. Now, two weeks later, and having taken my final dose of antibiotics yesterday, I am going for a seocnd scan tonight which should hopefully confirm that the cyst has completely gone - thankfully I didn't opt for surgery!

Can't wait to have a long awaited beer!

Thanks Osouk! I was not able to see a Dr today so i have a visit in about 9 hours (i should get to sleep).
*Warning- For Mature readers only* Interesting thing happened today though, mid-day I had an itch on my scrotum and it bothered the heck out of me. Didn't really scratch at it cause there was discomfort as well. Some time later after I arrived home I checked my area and saw that there had been some sort of puss that had came through my scrotum earlier. I figure this because there was some kind of dried out substance in that area where the pain was before. It seemed like dried puss or something. Has this happened to anyone before?

It was weird and freaked me out for a second and now realize the pain is mostly gone from inside my scrotum but my right testicle is rather enlarged. Will be sure to discuss this with the Dr in the morning and update later! Good night and God bless everyone!

I am also 19 and at the age of 16 found a lump on the right testicle where everyone else has said this occurs to them. I had a scan and it was examined to be a cyst. There is no harm in this although it could possibly stop your sperm from working as good as it should be

Well,

an update from me.

I had a second scan on Monday and to my surprise, the mass was still present. I was surprised as there was no pain. I was told I should have an open biopsy (as a pin hole one may be unsuccessful as the mass is so small). A second urologist agreed and sent me to the main hospital.

Here, the senior urologist said I should not risk a biospy and instead prescribed me with 2 more weeks worth of antibiotics. He thinks its likely to be a varicocele (annoying but i'd take that over cancer any day!) I have no serious pain although a little discomfort at night. My right groin feels tight but I think thats just muscular. My blood test was normal with no nasty surprises. Good news.

Glad I didnt have the biospy as since been advised by a friend who is an oncologist that "under no circumstances let anyone take a biop. A very senior practitioner told me that. Im not saying you have testicular cancer, but testicular cancer is very highly seeded- meaning the second that you biop it it spreads. "

I am getting another opinion form an oncologist doctor to see what he makes of it. Also having a third ultrasound scan in 2 weeks time.

I look forward to this unwelcome episode being over!

Good luck everyone!

HI,

All

If a discussion about cyst is going on i would like to share my own experience today.....

i saw cysts first time on my testicles just a 8months ago and it was smaller i just consulted with my senior brother and he said try antiseptic lotion diluted by water and do it twice for example DETOL..

i did it and it started reducing but to one extent and stopped there after i didnt bother and later on i got more over there..

now it was a time to be worry coz of my girlfriend as she dnt like it  :-(

So i went to DR who said if u want we can remove by surgery and it'll cost u per cyst which was too high otherwise there is no harm in it

its just becoz of the oily skin a fat is getting stored in a little bubble and due to calcium in our body it becomes hard so it'll not break easily but there is no harm in it.

THE ONLY CARE TO CYSTS ON OUR TESTICLES IS TO POP IT UP OR BREAK IT I MEAN JUST A LITTLE FUSE AND TAKE OUT THE LIQUID.

i tried it and it was very little pain and yup never came back there.

THE EASIEST WAY TO POP IT UP W/O EVEN A LITTLE PAIN IS GO TO ANY MEDICAL STORE AND BUY APRICOTE SCUB

YES SCRUB THAT WE USE ON FACE TO REMOVE DEAD SKIN....

RUB IT HARD ON AFFECTED AREAS AND BELIEVE ME NO PAIN BUT YOU'LL LIKE IT AND AFTER 4-5 TRIALS EVERYDAY DURING BATH WILL REMOVE IT GENTLY AND THERE ONWARDS NEEDED TO TAKE CARE OF THIS TO KEEP IT CLEANED AND SCRUB AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK.

It happens to a person out of 1000 only its not a desease but just a oily skin type thing like a pimple on our face so no need to be worried and keep your girlfriends happy about it !

Thanks People

Hi,

I'm 21 and I noticed the same exact thing in my right testicle on the upper part about 3 years ago. It never was painful when I squeezed/touched it - but there would be an occasional dull ache that lingered in the back part of my testicles and into my lower abdomen... but it would only last for a few minutes. I finally went to have it checked and the doc told me that it was just a cyst and I shouldn't be worried about it. I've yet to have it scanned though.

Hey all, i too have a similar problem to those listed before me, i found a lump, over 2 years ago if i recall, and i never had it checked, i figured it to be a cyst. its hard and round, like a wart or pimple, and its location is on the top of my right testicle, and im wondering what the likely hood of it being a cyst or testicular cancer. i cant tel my family because the GP costs €50 and we simply dont have that sort of money for a check up that might only prove to be a harmless cyst. So my question is; what is it most likely to be judging on its location and how long i've had it? All replies would be fantastic as im very nervous, thanks and please ask any questions about it and i'll answer them to the best of my ability (PS im 18, male) Thanks
