I had the EXACT same problem. Mine was diagnosed as IBS irritable bowel syndrome. I had been sick for about a month before this. And I had been admitted to the emergency room.

It sounds like you are suffering from a range of different conditions such as IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) which includes symptoms like cramping, abdominal pain and bloating, constipation, and diarrhea, Gastritis - Inflammation of the stomach lining, Gastroenteritis (Stomach 'Flu)- Inflammation of the stomach and intestines, typically resulting from bacterial toxins or viral infection and causing vomiting and diarrhea, - or possibly parasites, stomach or bowel cancer. It also sounds like Lactose intolerance (an intolerance to the Lactase enzyme in milk).

Seeing a doctor doesn't seem to be working for you so I recommend looking your symptoms up online; the NHS Choices, Webmd and Macmillan cancer website I find pretty useful so try these. BBC Health can also be a good one to try, but I wouldn't recommend Wiki Answers or Yahoo Answers.

Hope this helps! :)

Steves040,

Hi, I am having the exact same problems as you are. I was in and out of the ER many times because I can hardly eat anything and I'm severely fatigued all the time. They keep telling me that its a viral infection, but I dont want to believe that its just that. When I do eat I get so bloated and I feel a heavyness in my lower abdomen. This all started 3 weeks ago. I got like a pain in my upper right back under my ribcage it was sort of like a pinching pain that would come on frequently and then Subside for a min. Almost like contractions when I would eat anything I would feel full right away and my stomach would make a lot of gurgling sounds which btw I'm still trying to battle all this. The. I started getting nauseous and it just made things worse. On top of everything I'm a hypochondriac and have had severe anxiety since this all started. Although I think I've finally got the anxiety mostly under control. I am 27, 5'5", and I now weigh 122 pounds and I keep losing weight rapidly. I'm scared I'm going to dwindle down to nothing before they find out what is wrong. The best advice I can give you is stop going to the regular doctors and the ER. Go to a gasteronolagist because they are specialists in this kind of stuff. My Gas Dr told me that he things I have a slow gastric emptying and he is going to run a gastric emptying scan and basically what happens is they will give me an egg to eat with some radioactive substance ( completely harmless) and then they take a picture to see what happens when I eat the egg and how fast it moves through my system. Do you have any pain or blood? I just have the pain in my back that I have mentioned many times to Drs but it seems they don't care. I am thinking of the possibility of a gallstone or an ulcer. But anyway I should be getting that test done in the next few days so I will keep you updated as to what I find out. If they don't find anything the next step is an endoscopy and/or a colonoscopy. I'm just mad I waited this long to see a specialist. So please take my advice and go see a gasteronolagist.

Omg its such a relief to read other people are going through the same thing i am going through. I have been battling this unknown condition for months. I have been nauseous, lost my appetite completely, lost 15 pounds quick, severe abdominal pain and bubbly sound always, worse at night and in the morning. I now have lower back pain and my bowel movements are different. I feel alot of pressure in there and have taking colon cleansing stuff and that doesnt help. Now i feel dizzy all the time and my stomach feels icky!! I have been in and out of er, seen doctors, gynecologists thinking it was my girl stuff she seems to think its my large intestine, no one knows what it could be. Pretty annoying when several doctors cant figure it out.. I've had x-rays, pelvic exams, blood test, hiv testing, you name it ive had it done. Well now im waiting to see a GI. Hopefully they can figure it out. So hang in there i know how frustrating it is not knowing what the heck is wrong with you..

I am a male 52 years old  and I too have many of these issues - Main one loss of Weight over 120 lbs, nausea, no appetight, Pain Left Side  all since May 22, 2013 when I went to ER for the first of 4 visit with no answer - Have had every test under sun - been told from all these test that I have Diabetes type 1,  Neuropthay, Enlarge Prostate, IBS, Disk Intrustion, Compression Fracture and Pre Ostioprosis. Nothing explaing the sever stomach pain on the left side from Rib Cage to Hip - The pain goes away only when the BOWEL is COMPLETELY empty. It is not gas pain or IBS or Spasm in colon - I have those pain as well intermittenly. All test show nothing to worry about accord to the PCP (First one Fired) , Endocrenologist, GI, Neurologist and Pain Management. I am on Morphine and still dragging myself to work with no answers. Anyone can point me to what might be wrong so I can help diagnosis and get this resloved appreciated. I have had every test (CT,MRI, XRAY, ULTRASOUND, Blpood test). It getting harder and harder to get to work not even talking about working itself.
