10 weeks post gluteus maximus gluteus minimus tears both muscles detached from my hip bone Lateral hip replacement 2016 Prior to this left hip replacement there was an abductor tear but was not repaired After hip replacement pain swelling two years finally saw private trauma consultant London UCLH privately who opened me up He had to repair both muscle groups tendons and post surgery no Physio first 3/4 months to allow muscles to grow back into hip bone Slow one year recovery Been on 2 crutches 10 weeks Anybody out there who has had this done please text me thanks
