I have a quick question. Im 19 years old and female...I USUALLY have a normal period. The last 5 months I have always started on the 26th at the end of the month and last no more then a week. Well my last cycle started on Nov 26th. and ended the following week.. okay so far normal, but 3 days later I had light spotting for the day.. then on the 17th of dec. I started to bleed heavy( at nighttime) and it was very dark, almost brown..and it ended on the 20th, 3 days later. This is very unusal for me and Im curious if I could be pregnant because I do use the "PULL-OUT" method. And I usally shouldnt start my period until the 26 so that was 9 days early...oh and I should mention I have had severe pain in my right ingueal gland before I started to bleed on the 17th. I do have a doctors app. on the 22nd but I was curious if I could find out what MIGHT be wrong sooner..thank you
either your pregnant or your period is messed up due to hormones. It also could be the fact that your young. When your young your periods don't always stay the same. You should also really think about using protection because there are lots of STD's out there and its not fun when you have a scare! Think how you would feel if you cought Herpes. . it would be with you for life!
my friend had the same problem..it can be caused by stress, hormones, your body changing, and sometimes from switching sex partners. in the vagina you have both good and bad bacteria. sometimes when you have sex with a new partner and it is unprotected you can get an infection and cause te abnormal bleeding because your body treated the sex partner as a bad bacteria and was trying to fight the infection. i wouldnt really worry about it but it is also possible that you are pregnant.if you look at some websites, they will tell you about signs of being pregnant and maybe you can see for yourself. i hope all goes well. if you are there are choices you can make also, you can keep the baby, abortion or adoption. im not big on judging people, i had an abortion once because i wasnt careful and i recently had a child.i love him with all my heart, but this is totally your choice and you need to make the best decision and talk to your partner or your mother figure first before making a decision by yourself. Good luck :)
