Hi
I'm 35 and have never had children. I've been pregnant for 5 weeks, and considering an abortion, but worried that it might reduce the chance of pregnancy later on.
Do you know if this is the case, and is there any research or study on this?
Thanks a lot

There has been no real evidence of anyone not being fertile after an abortion. If you do deside to have an abortion, you will just have to resist having intercourse for two weeks after, or you could get an infection, which can cause infertility. However, you should know that pregnancy after the age of 35 makes the chances of down syndrom and complications higher. But, its not impossible to have a healthy baby. Women do it everyday.
