I am pregnant again with my second child i graduated with a BA in english with my first and now I am going for my masters soon time and money should never be in your decision it is a life it is a blessing and since you had cervical cancer you should feel lucky to be blessed with life when you might of been at the brink of death. First off those side effects coma, cervical lansceration, cancer ect are more common than you think and I agree that you are being selfish by ending your childs life. I would beg you to please think through this first before you make your decision you are talking about your babies life here. Studies have also shown that 96% of mothers after they have had an abortion feel they have taken a human life. You don't have to kill your baby just because you don't have time, put it up for adoption there are hundreds of couples out there who would love a baby. Also it is much harder to become pregnant later down the road if you have had an abortion.

i am 17 and was pregnant. Me and my boyfriend went together and had a termination. He was very suportive and i probably couldnt have done it without him. I live with my parents but they never found out. Neither did my friends.
This was 2 months ago and since, me and my boyfriend have broken up and no longer speak. It probably was because of the termination but who's to say. I also had a contraceptive implant inserted in my arm which i was told could mess up my periods. Since my abortion i have not stopped bleeding although it is light, could it just be from the implant? I have not had a proper period since. Im worried my womb might be punctured or something and i dont really know anything about it. Because no-one else found out and me and my boyfriend broke up i have no one to ask and without his support i dont dare go to the doctors.
Wondered if anyone can help me? Just would like some information. I was never very well informed anyway and this has made me worry.

i find it very disturbing that people choose to judge others based on their own opinions. I also have my own opinions, but do not live or walk in any one elses shoes. It is a very private and intimate decision of a woman to have or not have an abortion and it is her own decision and no one elses. I challenge anyone out there to say that every single time in their life where they had sex and were completely ready for the consequences of pregnancy. I seriously doubt that every single person out there waited to have sex with someone that they were ready to have a child with. At any time in your life you could be exactly where these people are. I have my termination on the 8/feb and I still don't have my period! I am very worry and so being to the doctor and she told me my ovaries are very big and then she did a pregnancy test and it shows a slight pink on the line. She told me I might be pregnant again but it is impossible cause we only have sex once and with a condom too! oh, what should I do and i am very worry. Doctor told to wait and should have another test a few days later but could it be the first abortion not successful? please help me

OK I understand not having time for a baby, and I understandn considering an abortion. But I DO NOT understand why some people just want to be jerks about things for no reason. I am also having an abortion. I have had 2 miscarriages and 1 child. I do use preventative measures; however, it failed! I am in no shape to financially, mentally, or physical have another child at this time or anytime in the near future.

I would just like to say I have seen abortion from both ends of the spectrum. I once used to be a strongly opinionated pro-life advocate who, at 18 years old refused to get an abortion when everyone around me was trying to force me into it. 2 years down the road, mother to a healthy toddler and business school student, I would not trade the life I have with my daughter for anything, but when I became pregnant again I knew that I just could not properly care for another child. So I, who had ALWAYS been so against abortion, found myself doing just that. And while I understand that some may find it very wrong let me ask you this, is it better to SAFELY, thanks to legal abortion, have tens of thousands of unborn babies sent to heaven every year or is it better to have hundreds of thousands more living here on earth in poverty, in abusive or neglectful homes, or in foster care?? JUst something to think about.
