I would just like to say I have seen abortion from both ends of the spectrum. I once used to be a strongly opinionated pro-life advocate who, at 18 years old, refused to get an abortion when everyone around me was trying to force me into it. 2 years down the road, mother to a healthy toddler and business school student, I would not trade the life I have with my daughter for anything, but when I became pregnant again I knew that I just could not properly care for another child. So I, who had ALWAYS been so against abortion, found myself doing just that. Now I am very proud to say that I am pro choice. I am more understanding and empathetic towards the PERSONAL decisions and situations surrounding abortion. It is a private choice, somtimes made for the better, and I can assure you that this decision is not taken lightly by any woman. And while I understand that some may still find it very wrong let me ask you this: Is it better to SAFELY, thanks to legal abortion, have tens of thousands of unborn babies sent to heaven every year or is it better to have hundreds of thousands more living here on earth in poverty, in abusive or neglectful homes, or in foster care?? JUst something to think about.

hey i had a abortion on march 7 and im still having complications from it and today is may 22, so yea... ive been in and out of the hospital several times for major discomfort in my pelvic area and tylenol 3 with codien dont even help but im only 18 and my b.f. at the time was 25 i wasnt ready and he wasnt ready ither but accidents do happen whether how careful we are or not, all we can really do is hope that were not and thats the best thing to do, but im not ready to raise a kid just yet and to the GUEST and you know im talking to u, how old are you first of all? and you wait till that happens to u and you see the positive pregnancy test and you tell me what u do if u keep it then your obvisoly a) looking for attention, b) trying to get money from ur babys daddy, or c) your just rich, or even d) your just plain stupid. but im not one to judge but you obvisoly dont know what its like to go through that and your probly one of those people who preach about this and that and everything your probly preatching "oh why are all these kids having kids when there young something has to be done!" lol sound familier thats what i thaught and ya it probly does so yea, stop your preatching about kids having kids ok, and get a life like seriously atleast we made a choice for our selves AND THE FUTURE WELL BEING OF THE CHILD! so yea give it some thaught and get pregnate unitetionally planned and see what u do, but you sound like a preatcher or one of the above that were mentioned so yea, you dont understand what women like us have been through so dont preatch till you go blue in the face about other peoples decisions until you had to make one your self like that then you can preatch about it!~*~amanda~*~

I hav a almost 9 yr old and just had anothe baby 12 months ago. The entire preganacy ended up beeing high risk. I had to go to the high risk specialist dr every other week the WHOLE pregnancy that was 2 hrs away. Into my 5th month i had to get stiched becasue the risk of premature birth was very high for me since 1 yr before this pregancy i had just lost my son, premature birth at only 21 wks, i actually had to give birth..... The worst day of my life! Off my feet the whole pregancy and it was horrible. When i went into labor and got all the way to 9 1/2 ,cm dialated and 38 hrs in labor i had to go for emerg c- section.( babrbarien style under my chest to my belly botton) On the table my boyfriend and mom were broguht in the room and we were told i was going to pass on and the baby might too. Both of us were is distress real bad. The scarest day of my life. But miraculaously we are both here and alive thank you. But when i just found out I was pregnant again accidentally it was life or death. I couldnt hold another baby my uterus is incapaable, dr said i had more than 50% chance of not making it alive this time.so i had an abortion. I chose to stay alive for the 2 children i have now who need there mom here for them. It was horrible but seems the only choice there was. So know that sometimes abortion is the only choice you have. So, my question is..How fast can a person get pregnant again AFTER having an abortion?..like is their a healin process where theres no eggs for a while or can u get prenant very easily jus like u can after u give birth sumtimes..
