I have been on accutane for almost a month now. I am 23-year-old male and beside the skin problems, I never had any other medical troubles. Now it seems that my skin is in even worse condition then before. How is that possible? Is this maybe just a passing phase? Should I be concerned and end the therapy? Is there Accutane – seborrhea dermatitus link?
You should not end or change anything in your therapy before consulting your doctor first. As for your current situation, I do not think that you have reason for panicking. My friend also had used accutane for skin treating. He said that his skin looked really awful during the therapy, but it was only temporary. Now he is fine, as is his skin.
