Hello everyone. I don't know if you will all see this post but anyways...I had the same pain as you guys for more than year. Starts in the right testicle, but also in the leg, in the lower abdomen. Always on the right side. Went to see a urologist, diagnosed epididymitis but "anti-inflammatories" didn't do anything. Even took several weeks of antibiotics but nothing seemed to solved it. After 3 visits to the urologist with absolutely no results, I decided to figure it out somewhere else and I went to a physiotherapist/chiropractor.
It took him exactly 3 seconds to figure out what I had and 2 minutes to fix it. It was a problem in my back. A vertebra in the lower back which had been jammed for a while. There is a nerve which goes from the lower back, all through the leg, passing in the testicular area.
He cracked my back, the vertebra unblocked. And the pain is ENTIRELY gone.
My advice find a good chiropractor and have him check your back for anything of the sort.
I have same exact problem as well. It feels like growing pain in my leg and my lower back hurts at times as well.
Hi Guys.
I am a 20 year old man who has had a number of the symptoms listed in this thread. I am too familiar with intermittant testicular pain, swelling, referred pain to my leg and the anxiety that comes with the physical symptoms. I have had these symptoms for years (at least 5) and thought it was something I would just have to manage for the duration of my days. I knew I did not have a hrydorcoele (testes was normal sized 99% of the time) and no infection (no burning sensation and I had a urine test done). However as a matter of another health problem (abdominal swelling) I saw a general surgeon. After being passed between consultants we clarified it was nothing to do with diet (symptons were not concurrent with meal times) nor was it physiological (e.g. inguinal hernia) or at least nothing was flagged up on MRI, CT and ultrasound scans. The only things that brought on testicular symptons were sitting for long periods, crossed legs and bad posture. My consultant sent me to a physiotherapist who was superb. He explained to me that the we learn pains and assume that if we experience pain in an area (e.g. our testes) it must be them that are the source of the problem. However referred pain, pain whose source is not where the pain is experienced, is very common, the most famous type being face/neck/arm/shoulder pain during a cardiac arrest. Pain basically is relayed from the brain and spinal cord to the body. Diffferent lengths of the spinal cord are responsible for different areas, from the neck right down to our toes. Between my physio and I we deduced I had been experiencing referred pain in my chest (from my upper back/spine), abdomen (middle throacic spine) and my groin, loin, testes and leg (from my lower back). If you want further infromation on referred pains please seek an article titled "Back, chest andabdominal pain: Is it spinal referred pain?" by Geoff Harding (currently free if you google it). In his paper I guess patient case study 3 will apply to us all in this thread. The description of the patient is as follows:
History: A 74 year old male retiree who participates in veteran athletics (javelin and sprinting) presents with a history of right groin pain whichoften radiates into the right testicle. It has been present for the past 2 months. There is no known injury but he has been training more frequently for international championships. He is otherwise well and has seen his GP who felt that he might have a small inguinal hernia, although the surgeon disagrees. He admits to some right loin pain (although he is not sure if this pain is related to the groin pain). The pain is intermittent, lasts about 1 hour and at times is deep, aching and ill defined. His pain diagram shows the back pain as being in the right loin area. The pain is worse with movement (especially bendingand twisting) and better with lying down. There are no urinary symptoms or fever.
In the paper he explains how he treats it. Unlike in a previous post my pain did not vanish but I keep 'clicking' my back now and then on a swiss ball or firm foam roll, the latter of the two I find the best

I guess maybe the best thing to take from this essay (sorry for the length) is it's not always right to assume the worst (cancer). I was very active when I was younger and because of this and bad posture I crocked my back. Seek advice on correct posture when lying/sitting/walking/running as it can change your perspective on what are the correct positions.
Stay healthy and any questions you have please post them up I will try to get back to them. Please bare in mind I am not a doctor or physio just a logical thinker who has had plenty of medical advice and although your syptoms may fit what is in this thread, and my explanation, it is better to get checked out.
Cheers
Just thought I'd let you know that I'm experiencing dull ball aches (what seem to be both balls) that come and go recently, and occasionally a strange feeling in my right leg as well as the occasional ache in my abdominal area.
I'll keep you all updated.
hi guys ...ive had pain in my right testicle for 15 years im 33 now and its still hasnt cleared up..ive seen 4 doctors a urologist and had an ultra sound last year..all of them have said its all normal down there but they cant seem to tell me what the pain is....i get a dull ache and my testicle feels tender
i have the same symptoms aching left testicle and aching left leg,,,ive been 2 several docters to no avil,,,but im thinking maybe it could b a form of epididymitis
Hey guys im experiencing same thing. I had 2 ultra sounds of testicles, abdomen, blood flow..Doc found nothing. I did a research on google and found this "PUDENDAL NERVE SYNDROME". This could be in my case.... Gonna see a specialist in two weeks and ill let you guys know what happened.
Thanks in advance for any help!
Craig
I read somewhere that it is due to a nerve issue no cancer I think, I also suffereing from same. But I didn't read anywhere how to cure it, so sorry.
same issue frnd, but after sitting at a place for long tyme and wen standing right buttocks pain this pain is slowly radiated towards behind hip(right)area... i was afraid it may b kidney stone or smething :(
I've done some reading on these same symptoms. Pain in the testicular area and radiating down towards the leg. Thing for me is that it is on the left side, and I don't have a left testicle. I was diagnosed with Stage III Testicular Cancer a year ago last month. The pain I am feeling now compared to the pain I felt then are two totally different things. Pain from cancer tends to radiate to the lower abdominal area (if the cancer has started to spread most commonly from the lymph nodes) or radiating to the back on the same side as the affected testicle.
At first I thought it might be ghost pains like a lot of amputees report, but then a few days later it started radiating to the back of my left leg.
After much reading and digging, most signs point to either nerve issues, or strained groin. Both can cause these pains that radiate as the nerves run behind the testicles and down the leg. Posture seems to play a big role in this.
I spoke with my oncologist yesterday and he said I shouldn't be worried about a recurrence of the cancer because I just went through follow up scans, CTs, bloodwork, etc, and everything was normal. With the pain not starting until I have been moving furniture around and doing some heavy duty cleaning, I'm thinking it is more of a strain.
Or it could be my horrible posture pinching a nerve because I sit all funky like on the couch. I'm a bad sloucher.
This probably didn't help much, but I wanted to help ease fears about Testicular Cancer, because the pains we are describing are a lot different. But do remember this: Not all symptoms of cancer (or other medical ailments) are presented with each person. If you have doubts or serious concerns, then see a doctor, have it looked at, and have it cleared. I waited a while and when I was diagnosed, the cancer had spread to my lungs, abdomen, lymph nodes and brain. Thanks to God that the treatment of chemotherapy (12 weeks) did it's job and I am cancer free today. TC is easily treatable when caught at the right time so I always advise that if you are unsure of what's going on, or you are scared, suck up that male pride, and get it checked out.
Peace.
Guys I got this same thing. Its been a year since i got it. I had ultra sound done couple times and did tests on stds and other infections. Everything came back negative. Then my doc gave me antibiotics and said its epididymitis . I've been taking those for like 2 months and it still didnt go away. Doc told me it just takes long time to recover, but it doesnt mean it will go away. In my case it got better then it was. Some of us just have to live with it. He also told me that this is not gonna harm my fertility. I hope this helps. :)
