I have a fear that acid is going to splash and burn my face every time I’m at my dentist’s because she uses citric acid to do some job with my braces and teeth. Can this acid be dangerous and how can burns be solved? I have heard that this is happening, so am not just being paranoid, but would like to get an useful advice. Does it leave the scars and does it immediately burn the tissue?
Yes I have also heard about this and think that can give you one advice. Cream that is used after removal of skin cancer that is called cellquest is from help in theses situations too. It is based on natural plant extracts, I thing that is got from banana leaves and it works very well in skin burns. But I guess that if something like this would happen at the dentist’s, the patient would not be left without professional help. There is no need to be that worried and scarred.
Citric Acid. Do you eat oranges? Yup citric acid. In an orange. Or a lemon. Or a pinapple. Or any CITRUS FRIUT. Is your face melting off? No. It's not hydrochloric acid. It is not going to eat your face y ***edited by moderator*** **
