This is an update July 2019 to my last post May 2019. Of all the things I tried for acne, I found one that works. Zinc Oxide, yes ... diaper rash cream. It actually works better than any regiment I used prior to the ablasion as well. I use the Pinxav product because it smells like Calamine lotion (the least smelly). I wear it when I go to bed. I actually have found a new make up routine where I put on a thin layer after my shower (it is pink/whitish in color), use concealer for spots and then powder to make the color match my skin (among other things, blush etc). Only cost me $6. If it doesn't work, it won't break your bank.
Just curious of how your are personally doing with the heart racing and acne? I’m 43 and not even 2 weeks post op and my skin has gone from Gizmo to Gremlin. I ended up having what they told me was a panic attack which landed me in the ER with a racing heart rate of 187. Never in my life have so many weird things happened to me after having this so called “life changing” ablation.
Just wanna say these messages were clearly written all by one very upset woman.
Yes. Had the procedure this year and within 4 months was struggling with acne, especially in the chin area, but now it’s mostly in my cheek area, neck, and my back has gotten extremely bad. Going to try some hormone balance gummies.
I had my ablation and have horrible acne ever since. Going on 6 months. I have gone to a dermatologist and an estheticianist and both have failed on clearing it. I have tried retinol, hormonal creams, doxy, spironolactone and $1000 plus later it's still here. It goes from my temples down to my chin and onto my neck bilaterally. Wearing a mask doesn't help, but that's not new for me. I even changed all of my soaps and detergents to non toxic clean products.
I cannot believe what I am reading…so many people have this issue. I thought I was going crazy and was about to cut out dairy. I used to have CLEAR skin prior to my ablation. Anything help? Anyone?
