OMG I have been to EVERY kind of doctor trying to find out why I started having this problem! I've been to 3 dermatologist & NONE OF THEM BELIEVED me when I told them that this started happening 3 months after I had this ablasion in Dec 2014! I'm 40 years old & my face is CONSTANTLY red, itchy, painful, oily & I too have cysts & nodules with clogged pores! Is there NO HOPE AT CLEARING OUR FACES NOW????

Ever since I had a uterine ablation in June 2016, my skin cysts are much much worse especially on my back, face and neck. My migraine headaches have worsened and my heart seems to be racing all the time. I am 44 with one child. Having this procedure was a huge mistake. I wish someone could help me figure this out. I was promised by my gyne that my hormones would not be affected. Something is wrong. I am really scared. Help!

Hi, I've just had an ablation a month ago and am terrified of getting acne as have suffered from it in the past. Can you tell me how you're getting on now. If your skin is better? I'm regretting having it done having read all the side effects after.

Same here. I never even had 1 break out until after my ablation & now my skin is completely different. It's been 2 years & nothing is changing. I wish I had just kept my mouth shut about the periods.

I wish I never had this done!!!! I have been searching for answers since 2012 when I had the Novasure procedure....no derm or gyno can explain it. I have been told I have skin dermatitis to rosacea. I HAVE NEVER HAD ISSUES WITH MY FACE!!!!! I have an App that I chart my breakouts and have found they occur right before my ovulation and period. The red bumps don't go away they just go down in size. These bumps hurt but itch too. It looks like a bug bite or small cyst! Nothing works....creams, diet, exercise sometimes makes them heated and they flare up. I feel doomed....

I too had an ablation in 2011, had crystal clear skin and 1 month after i broke out in cystic acne, 6 years on im still suffering. I thought this procedure never altered hormones but it must have an effect. Worst mistake i ever made, im 43 now and if anything this is getting worse!

Hi there
I had my procedure done last yr and same here. I’ve tried everything.
I’ve been going crazy with no hope or answers of what caused it,
Till I read this blog with your concerns and from others ladies.
Now I see I’m not alone.
Were you able to find some help?

I finally found people that have the same problem. i thought is was going crazy. my dermatologist referred me to an endocrinologist and wasnt able to help. they were stumped. i had a feeling it had something to do with hormones because my Free Testosterone is high!! I feel doomed and its been a year searching for answers and still nothing. I'm scheduled to see my endo this week.

I had Novasure ablation done Nov. 14, 2019. One week later I had broken out with acne all over my chest, upper abdomen, back, neck, jawline and face. I was never told this would be a possible side effect. I'm 44 years old and I never broke out like this before, not even teen years. I'm pissed and I know it's the only thing different. I'm regretting it if this is what I get to look forward to now.

I had the procedure Feb 2019. It is now the end of May 2019. I went from heavy period to no period. Nearly immediately I began breaking out, whereas before I would get one or two pimples before my period. The breakouts are constant and not the same "pimples". They are like little blisters that are painful. I get them on my chin and lower cheeks. I also notice pimple "bumps" below my ear area. It's a constant battle, but I wouldn't say I would have never gotten the procedure. Reading about "where" acne surfaces on my face is an indicator it is a hormonal issue. I'm 46.
