Hi folks. I previously read the thread regarding dreams and bedwetting and as I am prone to that myself and have been palmed off by my own doctor who has no idea of the cause.( My doctor seemed to think it might be a mental health issue but I somehow believe it is physical.) I would like to do a survey on the experiences of people who have the same 'condition' as myself in an attempt to establish a link cause. It would be done in confidence of course and would consist of questions to you related to my own experiences in life. It would be great to find a common link and most of all to possibly find that the cause can be treated. Please let me know if you would be prepared to take part in such a survey and I will devise one if there is enough interest. Thanks and Best wishes, Mike.
Did you have this problem as a child or did it start to happen at one point in your adulthood? That is what could point towards the difference between, as your doctor put it, mental health issue and physical problem. Even though most psychological problems have very real and obvious connections with physical issues - and the opposite is also true, especially with the problem you are experiencing: physical issue such as involuntary urination surely makes you mentally uncomfortable. That's why it makes sense to approach this problem from both sides.
Having read the other thread, no-one seems to have been able to establish what the actual problem is other than the physical manifestation of the problem itself and doctors seem to brush the whole thing under the carpet. That is why I want to do the survey.. to try to find a link in experiences/lifestyles/whatever. Best wishes, Mike.
