My husband & I are really hoping to get pregnant. I went off of birth control about 4 months ago, and so far we have not been so lucky. We thought we were pregnant once, because I was having a few early symptoms. But, unfortunately we weren't. We know several people who are pregnant right now. I am so happy for them but also sad because I want what they have and can't seem to make it happen. I am hoping that I am pregnant now, but won't know for another week. :(
Because I am wanting to get pregnant so bad, I often find myself dwelling on it to the point where I get impatient and disappointed.
-Does anyone have any advice for me to help keep my mind off of trying to get pregnant?
-Any special tricks you have learned to help increase the chances of getting pregnant faster?
-Do you know of any tricks or ways to learn if you are pregnant rather than having to wait till a few days prior to your period to take a hpt?
-Or has anyone been in my situation before, and if so what did you do?

When the time is right it will happen, some sooner then others..It may take anywhere from 2 months up to a year to concieve....I feel the same way you do right now, Ive been trying to as well for about 4 months and still nothing yet....If you stress alot about it or other things it may play a role in concieving as well, stress just effects a lot of us in many different ways.....
Theres a lot a different things that can affect fertilty as well, such as caffiene ( coffee, cokes) try to cut down on the intake of these, smoking, stress, overweight, underweight, poor eating habbits..( Become a health Nut) same goes for your husband as well, these can also affect him too...Wear boxers instead of briefs, dont take really hot baths...Have intercourse at least every other day..You could also try ovulation test strips as well, these can be bought at any drugstore over the counter, and they can help you predict when ovulation is to occure....
Just dont give up hope, you will have a baby sooner then you know it!!!
