Not everyone has a princess lifestyle who can have people cook fabulous and have time for the gym. Good luck with that when you get older.

I'm a mother of 3 young girls, I stay at home, clean the house, budget my groceries, cook delicious, healthy food & make a gym out of household objects. No need for a "princess lifestyle" , you just have to be motivated to have a healthy lifestyle....that way, I can get older!

oddly enough, that site you referred offers products that do not provide any data about ingredients in those Isagenix products being peddled there...since you made it a point to indicate that the ingredients of the advocare products are not exactly healthy, one would think that the Isagenix site would be all about including that info!

i read elsewhere that the niacin levels in advocare are excessive at 1000 mg where one would experience rash/flushing.

niacin in the advocare energy drink spark is actually 60 mgs, no flushing unless our body is hypersensitive to caffeine or energy products

Never know - many people will do almost anything for $$$. Look at the pharmeceuticals- the $$ they have to pay in lawsuits is nothing compared to all the $$ they make from pills that sometimes end up harming people; then they just move on to a new pill

I was worried about that actually but my advisor said it wouldn't bother me. I've actually had a better time with my stomach than normal. I used to get an upset stomach at least twice a week after eating, but so far everything has been NORMAL! I am so not used to that.. I love it.

Ok, so your professor, who is financially vested in, and has a monetary incentive with, a COMPETITOR to Advocare said that Advocare is bad? Shocker.

I'd bet that a side-by-side comparison of Advocare and Isagenix products would result is nearly exactly the same ingredients, promises, prices, and oh yea, direct sales compensation.

My good advice for you is that you should not go for any pills you have a very easy way to get rid of excessive weight just make a perfect diet plan.

It's way better then pills or any kind of artificial stuff make a perfect diet plan which will help you in loosing your weight pills contains stuff which can be harmful for us.

You need to make a plan about your diet do not eat stuff which is fried or contains more fats and calories eat vegetables and walk and hour a day and then see the difference.

I used the Herbal Cleanse which I thought was pretty good.  Before I've gone all natural with Standard Process and that is probably the best cleanse money can buy...but it's very hard and life changing.  I thought the advocare product worked pretty well.  However now I'm trying the  MNS C and I have to say, I am not having good results.

My stomach is acidic and constantly hurts.  I'm 6'3" and 200 lbs, working out 4-6 days a week, so I'm pretty athletic and on the heavier end of someone taking these, so you'd think my body could absorb these OK.  What I'm finding after looking at the ingredients is that there are some unsettling levels of product, particularly in the white packets.  Niacin at 45mg per day, which daily RDA for a male is 16mg.

the other problem I have is the Spark "energy" drink.  The sweetener used in this is Splenda, and this artificial sweetener is curious to use with a "cleanse", as it's the same as drinking a diet soda.  If you're trying to replace coffee, why choose an unnaturally sweetened product?  Black fair trade organic coffee or tea are much more natural.  If I truly want to lose weight and gain energy, I need to drink water or tea.

After 2 days am thinking of getting off this MNS C pill regimen, it's just too harsh for my body... and I don't have time to research all the levels in here but the white packets seem like they have way too much of most.  The blue packets are basically caffeine.

anyone else have body issues with MNS?  not talking losing weight, but actual side effects from the pills?

A friend of mine is doing the 24 day challenge and seems to be doing well.

Coincidentally a friend of mine is going to host a mixer and dropped off a few Spark samples.

1. I am not a big caffeine drinker. I rarely drink coffee or soda.

2. I've tried energy drinks twice; they did not taste good and they made me nauseous.

Enter Spark. My heart started racing, my hands were shaking, I couldn't turn off my brain (thoughts racing racing), I'm nauseous, and my face itches.

I eat fairly well and exercise 5 days a week. I never "crash". Needless to say, I won't try the second sample, I'm not going to the mixer, and will never buy their products.

Have been on the Advocare weight loss program for about 4 weeks now and have lost 23 lbs. I have a meal replacement in the morning with my coffee. What has helped me also is that I only eat in a 8 hour period. Nothing after that. I walk about 3 miles a week at the park. I shift work and was putting on weight from working odd hours and also I am 56 years old. I started out 278 lbs and will try to get down to 200lbs. My goal is to do it slow and take a year to do it. I feel great with no side affects. Everyone can feel free to chat about weight loss if they would like. Best of luck to all.

You will find your success in measuring yourself. It is not healthy to omit all carbs. You need to eat complex carbs. What MNS packets did you take.3.E or C? Ive found that E and C are too much for me.Ive been on Advocare for two yrs.Im 39 and have gone thru surgical menopause.I lost 18lbs and 27.5 inches all over.If you dont eat your body goes into survival mode and stores everything you put in.If you cant eat a meal at least have a meal replacement shake.I also take all my peels in two increments about a hr.apart. As for money ,if you break it down it is cheaper. How often do you eat out, drink soda or processed foods.

I am very sorry to here about your heart racing, hands shaking, nauseous, & etc side effects... The one thing that I noticed is that you presently are sensitive to caffeine absorption... Your sponsor failed to ask you one crucial question before handing you a Spark... "Are you sensitive to caffeine???" I Ask everyone this question before offering them a Sample of the Spark Energy Drink... Advocare developed a energy drink for those that are sensitive to caffeine. It is call "V-16".... It is caffeine free and include similar ingredients... I wish you the best....

i started taking advocare over one year ago and had many questions on this concern of gaining the weight back. i went from a 12 to a 4. i stopped product for 3 months in an attempt to prove this wrong..and indeed, i did not gain one pound back. we have an amazing scientific and medical advisory board, such as dr. stanley dudrick who PIONEERED IV NUTRITION. he would not associate his name with our products, much less help formulate them if things like this were true.
