I had a 10cm stone with total blockage and several stent placements, nephrostomy tubes. At the end of May I had a resection of a very scarred ureter. Since my release I had my stent removed which I thought would be the end of this tragedy as this has been going on now for 15 months. Now my Creatnine is 1.22 and my GFR is in the 40's. I feel run down all the time and feverish and weak. I am in my mid 50's and don't feel this is normal. Also the lining of my kidney is thinned. My BP is 180/110 while ambulating. I wake with headaches on a daily basis. I just know things are not right. I also am suffering from severe burning on the bottom of my feet and tops of my hands. I also have fibromyalgia but this is something I can handle and haven't had a severe flare up in several years. I still have occasional pain in my L side but not like when I had a stone also have a lower back ache. I called my urologist and all he said was see a Nephrologist?????
I have to say during my last surgery I started bleeding heavily from my surgical site and had to stay in the hospital for several days.
