I have a rash on the underside of my penis, close to the glans and on the frenulum, and a few pea-size patches on both sides of the urethra near the glans. It is red/dull-yellowish, shiny and sometimes itchy. It seems to have gone through phases of weeping, cracking, peeling/scaling, and spreading (the spots appear to get larger). I had similar symptoms about a month ago, and the spots are in almost exactly the same places this time, and then a few months prior to that the same appeared in conjunction with a diffuse, weeping, "prickly" rash on 40% of my body. I had the rash biopsied on my thigh, near my groin, which came back inconclusive. I have chronic eczema and allergy-related contact dermatitis, but nothing new, so far as i can tell has triggered this eruption, as i do not use any scented anything and am well aware of my food/medication sensitivities. I was recently comprehensively tested for STIs, except for herpes (as my healthcare provider said it was not herpes). I have used miconozole, clotrimazole, neosporin, saltwater soaks, eucerin, and 2 different types of type I topical steroids. all seem to relieve the pain/itching, but only temporarily. I used some sort of acid for toe fungus that essentially burns the skin off, and it worked well and healed well, but a few weeks later the rash/infection/whatever came right back. My sister is a physician. She says it is balantis. I have showed my penis to 5 doctors in less than 6 months! Please suggest something..
clotrimaderm 2% crm / hyderm 1% cream 2:1 ratio clotimazole 2% crm / hydrocortisone 1% cream 2:1 . That is what it says on the prescription , within 2 days the pain was 99% gone. I felt obligated to post after reading having known how much grief this caused me. Of course run it by your Dr. first but it saved me from going insane . Spent one day home with no pants it was to painful to have contact with anything. Sadly if its herpes I dont think this will help. good luck all.
